A bold stadium party for a 15 second spot for the AFL’s Kids Go Free campaign

Agency: Dirty Puppet

Party time!

Working closely with the team at Dirty Puppet, we created the concept of a Stadium Party to promote the AFL’s Kids Go Free rounds.

Bringing together a diverse range of people and non human characters, we celebrated the way the footy unites their fans no matter who they barrack for.

A key consideration was being able to create a really diverse range of people without having to create unique characters for each one.

Character system

We created a core character that could be scaled in all directions for different body shapes, along with a range of hairstyles.

A new suite of team colours was developed that was readily identifiable as footy gear without calling out any particular team.

The human characters were complemented by a range of unique characters celebrating australian animals, event activations and iconic footy snacks

Unique characters

The result is a vibrant celebration of everything that’s great about the footy, appealing to both kids and adults alike.
